Where to find the 2026 ranking lists and how to read your position.
The ranking lists are already being published: from 19 July, every competitive offer shows all its applications, competitive scores and applicant statuses. You can view them in three places — the applicant’s account, the universities’ own websites, and Abitly, where the lists come with cut-off scores from previous years and the wide-competition rankings. Let us go through how to read them and what they mean for you specifically.
The official source is the applicant’s account. There you see your applications and their status, but not the answer to the main question: how many people are after your place and with what scores.
On Abitly the ranking list of every competitive offer lives on the competitive offer page: applications, scores, the number of state-funded places and the cut-off scores of previous years, side by side. And the wide-competition ranking lists show what you will not find anywhere else: the cut-off score of every track in your group of specialties.
The lists are updated several times a day while applications are still open — until 1 August for bachelor’s programs. So your position today is not final: applications are still coming in, and the list keeps moving.
Picture this: an offer has 20 state-funded places and 140 applications on the list. That does not mean seven people per place. Look at three things.
Your competitive score. This is your NMT result with the coefficients of that particular offer. The same NMT result produces different competitive scores on different specialties — check yours in the calculator.
The priority of each application. Many of the people above you put this offer as their second or third priority. If they get into their first, they are no longer after this one. So “I am 47th with 20 state-funded places” is not a verdict.
Last year’s cut-off score. The best guide to the scale of things. On Abitly every offer page shows it for several years.
The real question is: how many of the people above you will actually come here. That is exactly what the admission simulation answers — a run of the enrollment algorithm on real applications.
You are not enrolled on a state-funded place within a single university, but within the wide competition — a shared ranking of every applicant in the country for a group of specialties. The state-funded places are distributed by the targeted placement algorithm: it works down the ranking from the top and gives everyone the highest priority still available to them.
Two things follow from this:
The official wide-competition results only appear at the end of the campaign. On Abitly they are already here: we ran the placement algorithm on the real application data and published the rankings of every wide-competition group — with the cut-off score of each track (general competition, quota 1, quota 2, interview) and the deciding application highlighted, whose score is the group’s cut-off.
The list will keep moving until applications close, so check your position every day or two. And if you want to understand not “where I am on the list” but “where I actually get in” — run the admission simulation.
